《全金属狂潮》第四季动画将于2018年4月开播，动画由XEBEC制作。《全金》的第四季动画也是有生之年系列，距离京都动画当年的第三季已经有将近12年的时间。在2016年的Fantasia学园祭上公布《全金属狂潮 IV》这个标题时官方就说明“IV” 不是罗马数字4，1月19日第四季的副标题正式公布，“IV”是两个英文单词的首字母缩写——“Invisible Victory”（无形的胜利）。。该剧讲述了感情受挫的罗鹂和婚后离异的池海东这两位专打离婚官司的律师，生活中是邻居，法庭上是对手，两人一路遭遇各类奇葩离婚案件，在一次次唇枪舌剑的对峙中，爱情却悄然萌芽。所以，虽然打着“离婚”的牌号，最终却是讲述一个“相信爱情，经营婚姻”的故事。。Finding herself the victim of a violent monster attack, Jane launches a vigilante campaign to hunt the beast that tried to kill her.
