征战PTU一年后，李柏翘（陈键锋 饰）加入冲锋队，而钟立文（吴卓羲 饰）加入特别职务队。两人的行事风格迥异，柏翘接连高升，而立文则总为冲动埋单。台湾坐牢十年的江世孝（苗侨伟 饰）出狱，被进兴老大杜亦天接回香港，准备委以重任。但遭到Laughing哥（谢天华 饰）的不满，处处挑衅。期间，立文为了破获制毒工场，邂逅了盗版妹江悠悠（江若琳 饰），而后者刚好是江世孝失散多年的女儿。在大嫂程若芯（周海媚 饰）的撮合下，父女终于相认。而江世孝也投桃报李为程若芯找到了母亲花姐。花姐之女花若葆在Car1受到李Sir不留情面的责骂。幸好有柏翘劝慰才得以化解，两人暗生情愫。与此同时，立文与悠悠也是假戏真做，一个扮演小公主，一个扮幸运王子。正在此时，立文奉命作进兴卧底，投靠Laughing，后者游走在江世孝与程若芯之间，亦正亦邪……。Weapons of Death is not the most original Polizi flick you're ever likely to see, but that's not too much of a problem since the genre tends to borrow from itself often anyway.
