1930年代末，乱世小城，一起绑架案让小城里的李家和王家再起冲突。同时，中日混血张岱为个人恩仇，不惜带着日本人南野秀回来搅局。李家女儿李玉兰为了让父亲不受伤害，三进三出王一刀的土匪山寨，化解了恩仇。。The physician's death orphans his two adolescent daughters.
