叶青云小时候为救沈玉衡失去左手，因此遭到周围人的歧视和父母抛弃。叶青云艰难求生时，意外捡到了弃婴并取名糖糖，与她相依为命长大。可未曾想，糖糖刚长大就遭到韩家三少爷韩景天的毒手，在韩氏集团坠楼身亡。改名换姓后叶青云重新出现在韩家三兄弟身边……。与失明的国宝级篆刻家父亲（权海骁饰）相依为命的林东焕（朴正民饰），某天接到一通电话，40年前失踪的母亲突然出现。未曾谋面的她回来了，以骸骨的模样。为找出真相四处探访，听到的却都是同一句话：“她长得很丑。”。Two places are in focus in this soap. First of all the hospital clinic run by Göran Fridell, a doctor who can not take advice from others, including his wife Ingrid, who also works at the hospital.
