抗战全面爆发后，孪生兄弟于明阳、于明辉投笔从戎。明辉后来参加了中共游击队，投身到敌后抗日战场，由于从军前他有英语基础，所以很受上级重用，在根据地很有名气。抗战结束后，很快又开始了三年的解放战争，此时的哥哥于明阳则是从美国西点军校毕业的军事专家。华野总部获悉兄弟二人的情况后，派于明辉前去策反于明阳。军统局长毛人凤知悉于明阳归国，特派军统之花罗美慧、心腹干将王松山、张发运等前往迎接。由于多年的人生观、世界观不同，于明阳断然拒绝了弟弟的策反并发生火并，枪战中于明阳死在张发运枪下，审时度势的于明辉毅然假扮哥哥，深入到敌穴之中......。Allison is approached by Gary Durant who wants something done about the harassment directed at his elderly father.
